So you’ve decided you are interested in Animation. The next step is having the tools to get animating! If you are currently studying, you are already entitled to a free Autodesk software license as well as a free Houdini Apprentice license.

If you need help working out the kinks with these programs, Autodesk have incredibly informative online classes, and SideFX have excellent tutorials to help you along the way.

You can also apply for the MPC Academy, which aims to get graduates up to a professional standard so that they can fast-track into a role in VFX.
